I know that it does not feel like Spring out there, but Softball Season is almost here again. Henrico County has already contacted us with registration information for this season.
Just like last season, we will opt to play in the Henrico County CoRec-Recreational League: 28 Game Schedule. Our team registration is due in early March and I expect for games to begin the week of March 29th. Per person costs will be determined by how many people are on the roster this season and will need to cover our Team Registration Fee ($835.00), any out of County non-residents fees ($15/person that does not live within Henrico County), and team shirts ($TBD). I expect the per person cost to be around $60 just like it was last season.
Once we get the roster set and collect the money needed to pay our registration dues – we will begin to work on:
- 2010 TEAM SHIRTS – yes, with numbers; and names this year.
- Season Kick-Off Happy Hour or Team Party… maybe a Flying Squirrels Game? GO NUTZ!
- Optional Practices – probably in Mid March, on Saturday Mornings, just like we did last season
- Website Updates & Confirming Cell Phone Alerts
